The current state-mandated business closures and social distancing may leave you feeling very isolated. Don’t let hearing aid issues add to your stress! The Pennsylvania Ear Institute recommends using these online resources until our office can re-open.
For wireless connection issues:
If you are using your hearing aid for wireless streaming of phone calls and other audio but no longer have a pairing or you no longer have full functionality of the manufacturer’s app, each company offers a direct to consumer hotline for troubleshooting.
If you would prefer a demonstration or written instructions, videos and web tutorials are also available to troubleshoot apps, phone connections, and other wireless accessories.
General cleaning and maintenance:
Having trouble with general maintenance such as cleaning and changing wax guards? Each company has video how-to guides on their company website or a dedicated YouTube channel.
Requesting supplies:
If you are in need of any supplies for your devices (e.g. wax guards, domes/earpieces, batteries, etc.) please call the office at 215-780-3180 and leave a message. Our staff will forward your message to your audiologist and we can arrange to send you the items you need. Charges for the items and shipping may apply. You will be notified of any fees prior to fulfilling your request.
The Pennsylvania Ear Institute is dedicated to supporting you in these difficult times. Always know that we are available by phone (215-780-3180) and email (pei@salus.edu) to address any questions or concerns you may have.
