PEI Hosts Successful Fall Open House

Audiology students at the PEI open houseThe Pennsylvania Ear Institute (PEI) of Salus University recently hosted a Fall Open House on Saturday, October 19. Students and faculty were on-hand to educate members of the community and raise awareness about healthy hearing, tinnitus and balance.

The Open House drew 65 people who were given tours of the state-of-the-art facility and first-hand demonstrations of PEI’s enhanced diagnostic equipment. Students had the opportunity to showcase their clinical skills through complimentary hearing screenings to over 45 attendees. Anyone who failed a hearing screening was referred to PEI for a comprehensive evaluation. The screenings resulted in 25 appointments with PEI for these evaluations.
