September 22, 2018: PCOM Wellness Fest, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

The Eye Institute, the Pennsylvania Ear Institute and the Speech-Language Institute will be providing complimentary health screenings at PCOM’s Wellness Fest. The event will also feature children’s activities, fitness classes, cooking demonstrations, live entertainment, guest speakers, relaxation activities, food trucks, and more!
September 26, 2018: Arcadia Health & Wellness Fair, 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Salus University’s Health Facilities will be taking part in Arcadia University’s very first Health and Wellness Fair. Along with information about our health services, Arcadia students will have the opportunity to meet with advanced nutrition consultants and learn about a variety of other healthcare services.
September 27, 2018: State Rep. Pamela DeLissio’s Senior Expo, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Join us for State Rep. Pamela Delissio’s Senior Expo. Representatives from The Eye Institute, the Pennsylvania Ear Institute and the Speech-Language Institute will be on hand to offer information about our vision, hearing and speech services. The event will also accommodate a diverse group of agencies and organizations that acknowledge the needs and interests of senior citizens.
October 6, 2018: LaSalle Community Health Fair, 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
The Shoppes at LaSalle, 5301 Chew Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19138
LaSalle University will be hosting a free Community Health Fair. Optometrists and optometry students from The Eye Institute will be on hand providing complimentary vision screenings using the University’s Mobile Vision Care Unit. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet more than 50 vendors representing local healthcare providers, wellness specialists, and other businesses.
Speech-Language Institute Support Groups
The Speech-Language Institute (SLI) offers a variety of monthly support groups for clients, caregivers and their families. Some of SLI’s current support group listing include: Speakeasy – a group for throat cancer survivors, Raise Your Voice – a group for transgender voice and communication skills and a Fluency group which serves as an affiliate of the National Stuttering Association.
