The Eye Institute (TEI) of Salus University recently marked the one-year anniversary of its newest satellite facility located in Norristown, Pa.
Established in partnership with Delaware Valley Community Health, Inc. (DVCH), the Norristown site’s innate goal is to provide comprehensive vision care to patients in Montgomery County.
The facility, located inside DVCH’s Norristown Regional Health Center, serves as TEI’s fourth location and offers primary eye care services for both adults and children.
Within its first year, the Norristown satellite has logged 985 patients and more than 1,270 appointments. For patients, the experience has been both professional and pleasant.
“I had a routine eye exam and it was great,” said Kathy Deitch. “The doctor went over everything and I felt very confident in what was happening.”
According to DVCH, the Norristown Regional Health Center offers essential healthcare services to those in need and partnering with TEI to add vision care to its menu of services has proven to be a success.
“The partnership between DVCH and Salus continues to develop and work very well,” said Brenda Robles Cooke, vice-president and chief operating officer of Delaware Valley Community Health, Inc. “We look forward to growing the practice more in 2018.
