Hear Better in Time for Valentine’s Day

graphic of grandfather and grandson about protecting your hearing

According to the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD), approximately 37.5 million American adults report difficulty hearing. In general, hearing loss develops gradually and many people may not be aware they have a problem until after it has been affecting their communication for years.

Common signs of hearing loss include:

  • Trouble understanding phone conversations
  • Difficulty hearing in crowded settings
  • Trouble following a conversation when more than one person is speaking
  • Frequently thinking people are mumbling
  • Asking people to repeat themselves
  • Frequent complaints from others that the TV is too lo

If left untreated, hearing loss can have a debilitating social and emotional impact, affecting a person’s ability to communicate with their loved ones. To ensure you don’t miss the special sentiments from those that matter most, the Pennsylvania Ear Institute (PEI) wants to help you hear better just in time for Valentine’s Day.

With PEI’s “For the Love of Hearing” offer, you can enjoy your choice of complimentary accessories for any hearing aid purchase made before February 14.*
