Dr. Bisant Labib was recently named co-chief of Suite 3 in the primary care service of The Eye Institute (TEI).
Dr. Labib received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Salus University Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) in 2014 and completed her primary care residency at TEI the following year. In 2015, Dr. Labib joined the PCO staff and began seeing patients at TEI’s Oak Lane location.
As a former TEI resident, Dr. Labib is looking forward to jointly leading the Suite 3 team with one of her mentors.
“As both a former student and resident of Suite 3, I am extremely honored and thankful to be able to work alongside Dr. Andrew Gurwood in providing an educational and positive clinical experience to the current and incoming students,” she said.
Dr. Labib also serves as a Review of Optometry columnist and is an editorial board member for the Journal of Ophthalmology and Optometry Research.
