The Pennsylvania Ear Institute (PEI) of Salus University wants to ensure no loving sentiments are missed this Valentine’s Day with its “For the Love of Hearing” event. From January 24-26, PEI will provide complimentary hearing screenings at its Elkins Park, PA community office. Hearing aid demonstrations, same-day hearing exams, a no-risk free trial of hearing devices and a $100 discount on hearing aids will also be available.

Common signs of hearing loss include:

  • Trouble understanding phone conversations
  • Difficulty hearing over background noise
  • Trouble following a conversation when more than one person is speaking
  • Frequently thinking people are mumbling
  • Asking people to repeat themselves
  • Frequent complaints by others that the TV is too loud

PEI’s Doctors of Audiology are specialists in diagnosing and managing hearing loss and vestibular disorders (disorders of the body’s balance system) in both adults and children. PEI is the clinical facility for the Salus University Osborne College of Audiology, located at 8380 Old York Road, Suite 120, Elkins Park, PA 19027.
