The Eye Institute Grand Rounds] In his lecture, “Cataract Surgery 2016,” Dr. Lewis will review this years advances in pre-operative, peri-operative, and post-operative care and management. Topics include: the growing role of no-drop surgery, astigmatism and presbyopia options, glaucoma control with cataract surgery, and refractive visual endpoint refinement. Presentation will include 4K and HD video, high resolution clinical imaging including slit lamp photography, optical coherence tomography (OCT), and ultrasonic biomicroscopy (UBM).
These sessions are open to local eyecare providers at no charge. All sessions will be held in the Toland Classroom on the upper level of The Eye Institute from 7:30 am-8:45 am. For your convenience, please use the Spencer Avenue staff and student parking lot and entrance. Light refreshments will be served.
