The Pennsylvania Ear Institute (PEI) of Salus University announced an open house reception taking place on March 10 from 4 to 7 p.m. PEI is the clinical facility for the Salus University Osborne College of Audiology. The open house will include custom ear plug giveaways as well as demonstrations of clinical assessment techniques, assistive listening devices and PEI’s hearing screening program. Tours of the recently renovated facility, which includes additional rooms for advanced diagnostics and patient education, will also be offered during the event. The added space will enable PEI to see more patients with a reduced waiting time.

PEI provides pediatric and adult hearing care services while serving as a clinical training site for Salus University audiology students. The clinic is staffed by Salus University graduate students training to become audiologists under the supervision of clinical educators as part of its Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree program.

It is located at 8380 Old York Road, Suite 120 on the campus of Salus University in Elkins Park.
