TEI Welcomes New Service Providers

Dr. Erin Jenewein is a Staff Optometrist in the Pediatric and Binocular Vision Service at TEI. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2009 from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry where she also completed a Pediatrics and Binocular Vision residency. Dr. Jenewein is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, and also serves as an investigator for the Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator Group.

Dr. Elizabeth Dale specializes in the treatment and on-going management of glaucoma within TEI’s Specialty Services. Dr. Dale earned her medical degree at Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City, and then completed her ophthalmology residency at Columbia University Medical Center’s Edward S. Harkness Eye Institute. Dr. Dale completed her glaucoma fellowship at the University of Miami’s world-renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in 2015.

Dr. Maria Downey is a Staff Optometrist in the Primary Eye Care Service at TEI. After earning her Doctor of Optometry degree from the SUNY College of Optometry, she completed a residency in Ocular Disease at OMNI Eye Specialists in Baltimore, MD.  Dr. Downey has extensive experience in clinical practice and ocular disease management. Her special interests include diabetic eye care and anterior segment disease.
