Occupational Therapists help individuals across the lifespan participate in desired life activities. At the Occupational Therapy Institute (OTI), we focus on client-centered care while providing a valuable clinical experience to graduate students in the Department of Occupational Therapy.
Clinical staff and students work in collaboration with clients and their families to maximize health and well-being while managing injury and illness rehabilitation. Group and individual education sessions promote increased independence in activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing and household management, education, play and social participation with family and peers.
The faculty and students practicing at the Occupational Therapy Institute do not discriminate in the delivery of clinical services on the basis of race or ethnicity, gender, age, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, or disability.
