Grand rounds classroom

The Eye Institute's Grand Rounds at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry are offered to faculty, residents, students and alumni. The goals of the program are:

  • To develop a network of professionals in order to share information and strengthen clinical knowledge
  • To foster professional development in the optometric community
  • To provide Continuing Education opportunities to alumni and friends of the University
As of September 2024, all Grand Rounds presentations will be held in person at The Eye Institute, unless otherwise noted in the calendar.

You are welcome to attend all Grand Rounds at TEI. Your attendance will be tracked on site to qualify to receive free COPE accredited continuing education credit. Unless otherwise noted, no breakfast will be served, but you can bring your own.

We will offer only a limited number of Grand Rounds synchronous virtual presentations in the coming months. When Grand Rounds is offered online, you will receive an email invitation and need to register for that course to receive an active Zoom link to attend from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.

Important: For both in-person or Zoom lectures, you are required to complete a course evaluation (which will be emailed to registrants) as well as have your attendance verified to receive COPE accredited continuing education credit. Online attendance will only be authenticated for attendees who display their first AND last name on their Zoom display screen.
