Dr. Pagani graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology while her postgraduate training at Rutgers University focused on Radiation Hazards and Control. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1987, where she was conferred with the Clinical Excellence Award in Module 4. Dr. Pagani also completed a residency in Primary Care at The Eye Institute of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry the following year.
With a concentration on systemic disease associated with the eye, she has lectured extensively internationally. She has also published articles and chapters in optometric literature.
Dr. Pagani holds a position at the Nemours Health Clinic in Wilmington, Delaware, where she is a consultant, a low vision specialist and a member of the quality assurance committee.
Dr. Pagani is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Pennsylvania Optometric Association.
