Dr. Meagher received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedicial Sciences with a minor in Pharmacology/Toxicology from SUNY Buffalo. After earning his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2015 from Salus University at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, he completed an Ocular Disease residency at The Eye Institute in 2016. In 2020 he completed a two-year glaucoma fellowship under the tutelage of Dr. G. Richard Bennett and various glaucoma surgeons in the greater Philadelphia area. He is an Assistant Professor at Salus University and is primarily involved at The Eye Institute within the Emergency & Glaucoma services. He works closely with the residents as an attending and has been a mentor since he was brought on as faculty in 2016. He is a recognized Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, a member of the Optometric Glaucoma Society and provides glaucoma focused lectures both a local and national level at annual conferences.
